Small Batch Aged Virginia

Small Batch Aged Virginia is an unadulterated Virginia blend born from the collaboration between 4th Generation and Samuel Gawith. All the leaves used were rested for ten years, then warm-pressed, sliced and formed into ribbon. Production took place at the Samuel Gawith facility in northern England, and the product was offered in limited numbers in tin packaging.

Because of the long aging, the taste is darker and more concentrated than fresh Virginia blends; the sharpness gives way to a mellow, settled sweetness. It sits high in body and fullness, so it calls for a slow, experienced smoke.
