Pembroke

Pembroke is Esoterica's classic English mixture Margate flavored with French cognac; it is ribbon cut and produced by J. F. Germain & Son in Jersey.

While the latakia soot and oriental spice remain fundamentally intact, the cognac adds a grapey, faintly alcoholic sweetness to the blend. It suits smokers familiar with unadulterated English mixtures but wanting a measured topping over them; the flavoring is not enough to cover the leaf's smoky character.
