Stonehaven

Stonehaven is produced for Butera Pipe Co. by J. F. Germain & Son in Jersey. Air-cured leaves, burley, and select Virginias are matured and pressed into dark brown flake slices. It is counted among the representatives of the British tradition's flavoured dark flake style.

Its body is fuller than the other blends in the line; burley's earthy, bread-like depth runs together with the dark sugar and dried-fruit tones intensified by pressing. Flakes arriving moist need airing, rubbing out, and slow smoking. Due to limited production it appears on the market only periodically.
