Woodbridge

Woodbridge is a blend built entirely on Virginia leaf within the Esoterica Tobacciana line. Records indicate twelve different Virginias are used: six light-coloured Virginias, four Virginias pressed until reddish-brown then rubbed out, and golden and dark Virginia leaves hot-pressed until jet black. Having these differently processed leaves together keeps the blend's cut from being uniform and gives the bowl a mixed-texture leaf.

A light liquorice root and natural fruit essence is applied on top; this flavouring is kept at a level that accompanies rather than overtakes Virginia's own sugar. The smoke proceeds bread-like and sweet at a medium intensity, with a nicotine load that isn't heavy. Since it contains no Latakia, it suits smokers who don't want the smoky taste of English blends but want something a bit sweeter than plain Virginia.
