Sterling Balkan 759 is a full-bodied Balkan blend previously sold in the Charles Fairmorn line, later offered in bulk under the F & K brand. Its composition includes matured Virginia leaves, sharp Oriental leaves, and a heavy amount of Latakia; the cut is ribbon.
As the Balkan designation indicates, the Oriental leaf share is higher than in classic English blends; this adds a dry-grass, spicy, tart sharpness to the smoky Latakia base. The smoke is dark and full, and it is not light in nicotine either. It suits smokers accustomed to Latakia-heavy blends; it contains no flavouring.
