34th Mixture

34th Mixture is one of the English-style blends in the line tracing its roots to Fribourg & Treyer, the tobacconist founded in 1720 on Haymarket in London. Latakia and black cavendish are added to Virginia leaves, and it is presented in a fairly coarse ribbon cut.

Because the latakia amount is kept measured, the smoke taste doesn't overtake the blend; the black cavendish gives a sweet base that softens the smoky side. Without venturing into heavy Balkan mixtures, it has a structure suitable for all-day smoking for smokers wanting to get to know the English style.
