Cut Virginia Plug

Cut Virginia Plug is a pure Virginia blend prepared under the British Fribourg & Treyer name by the German producer Kohlhase & Kopp. The plug, matured under pressure, is cut into mottled slices ranging from light yellow to dark brown; records indicate the leaves used are drawn from Brazilian, Indian, and African Virginias. A very light fruit-citrus-and-vanilla sauce is applied over it; this topping is more noticeable in the tin aroma than in the smoke, so the blend does not count as fully aromatic.
