Barbary Coast (Original Mixtures)

Barbary Coast is a cube-cut blend in G. L. Pease's Original Mixtures line, with Perique added to a Virginia and Burley base. A measured brandy topping is applied to the leaf mixture; this topping is not intense enough to place the blend in the aromatic class, remaining a flavouring that frames the tobacco's own taste. The cube cut makes filling easy, but tends to burn quickly if loaded loosely.
