Ellipsis Flake

Ellipsis Flake is the fourth entry in G. L. Pease's Zeitgeist series. Oriental leaf and a small amount of Perique are added to a Virginia-heavy base; white Burley, which gives the blend strength, and Cavendish, which softens the texture, also enter the mix. The leaves are pressed and cut into flakes, a process that lets the flavours meld and intensify.

It is a medium-bodied, untopped blend; sweetness, spice, and a nutty background sit together. Whether the flake is rubbed out or loaded folded determines the pace of the smoke. It suits smokers interested in pressed Virginia flakes and ageing.
