Horizons is the third entry in G. L. Pease's Zeitgeist series, released in 2024. Turkish Latakia and Oriental leaf are added to matured red Virginia and light flue-cured Virginia; the blend is pressed and cut into flake form.
It is a medium-bodied English blend with a contemporary edge: Latakia's smoky weight is balanced by Virginia's sweetness, while the Oriental leaf lays a spicy layer over it. The Latakia proportion does not push the blend into heavy Balkan-mixture territory. It suits smokers used to working with flake tobaccos, those new to English blends, or anyone seeking a moderate Latakia dose for everyday smoking.
