Key Largo

Key Largo is a blend built by adding maduro cigar wrapper leaf over red Virginias, small-leaved Oriental tobaccos, and a small amount of Cyprus latakia. It is presented in broken-flake form; the cigar leaf gives both an earthy spice and a heavy, creamy smoke.

Throughout the smoke, cocoa, dark roasted coffee, and leather notes open layer by layer, with a long finish. Given its ingredients, it leaves a milder room note than expected. It is a record aimed at smokers curious how cigar leaf behaves in a pipe, who want a full but not flavour-added blend.
