Maltese Falcon (Heirloom Collection)

Maltese Falcon is a coarse-cut English blend in G. L. Pease's Heirloom Collection line. High-quality Oriental leaves and a measured amount of Latakia are added over sweet Virginia leaves; no additive is used in the blend.

Latakia takes the lead role in the overall taste, but not to a degree that masks the other leaves' flavour; the Oriental leaf's silky, oily, spicy character and Virginia's sweetness remain identifiable in the background. Strength is light-to-medium and it leaves a long-lasting taste on the palate. It suits those wanting to smoke Latakia in a balanced rather than heavy dose.
