Regents Flake

Regents Flake is a blend built by placing a generous measure of Oriental tobacco, especially Izmir leaf, over a base of red and bright Virginia leaves. A very small amount of perique is added to bring out the fruity side of the Virginias and enlarge the exotic, near-floral qualities of the Oriental leaf. The mix is pressed into cakes, fermented, then sliced for boxing.

The tin and room aroma carries an incense-like line. In the smoke, Virginia's measured sweetness joins with the Oriental leaf's spicy, sweet-tart character. The coating contains no added sugar or flavouring. It suits smokers seeking a more measured intensity than the brand's other Oriental-heavy records.
