Sixpence

Sixpence is a Virginia-Perique blend in G. L. Pease's Old London Series line. Its base is ripe red Virginia leaf; a generous measure of perique is added, along with a small amount of dark fire-cured Kentucky for body and depth. After a light preparation process, the leaves are pressed into plug form and rested, then sliced for boxing; the result is a tobacco with a broken-flake appearance. It takes its name from the English sixpence coin and is the first Virginia-Perique record in the series.
