Brown Pigtail Vanilla

This is the vanilla-sweetened version of the rope produced by twisting dark fire-cured leaves. The rope's own scent is measured and carries more of a cream-custard association than pure vanilla on its own. Strong Virginia leaf gives fermented dark fruit, earth, and lightly grassy notes, while the vanilla topping softens the sharp edges of this body somewhat.

Like the other pigtail ropes, it is prepared by slicing thin, rubbing out, and airing. Its fullness is above medium; despite being in the aromatic class, it is not a light tobacco. It is aimed at those accustomed to the rope format who want a sweet top note over a full body.
