Burley & Bright

Burley & Bright is a thin-ribbon-cut blend prepared by adding nutty Burley to a base heavy in light-coloured Virginia. It carries a light vanilla-based sauce and a fine cocoa-like tone; since the topping dose is kept low, the blend sits somewhere between topped and untopped tobaccos. The cut is finer than average, which makes it easy to fill.

The presence of Burley makes the smoke cooler than pure Virginia and reduces the tendency to bite the tongue. The taste is flat and mild; light Virginia's grassy sweetness and Burley's dry, nutty base run side by side. The nicotine load is light to medium and suits all-day smoking.
