Curly Cut De Luxe Sliced

Curly Cut De Luxe is one of the firm's hand-rolled rope tobaccos. Leaves are hand-rolled as in twist-making, pressed, and sliced to give coin-shaped cuts. In the blend, air-cured dark leaf takes up more room than the flavored light-colored leaf.

When lit, the dark leaf's nutty, earthy side leads; the light leaf adds a herbal, bright sweetness, and the two trade places through the bowl. Since the slices are tight, they can be packed folded without rubbing out, and burn slowly. Aimed at those familiar with rope-cut texture wanting a natural, unsauced Virginia smoke.
