Dark Flake Rose Geranium

This is one of the most pronounced examples of Lakeland tradition. This medium-thick flake is built from Indian-origin air-cured dark Virginias and other strong leaf; the cake is pressed in a hot press, rested, and then the top flavoring is applied. The result is a rose-and-geranium-based floral top note running alongside the tobacco's dark body.

The slices are packed rubbed out or folded. Nicotine is above medium, and the floral essence is intense, lingering in the pipe for a long time — for this reason, smoking it in a dedicated pipe is common practice.
