Dark Plug

Dark Plug is an unflavored plug tobacco produced by combining Malawi-origin fire-cured leaf and Indian-origin air-cured dark leaf in equal proportions and cold-pressing them for more than a week. The plug shape keeps the tobacco's natural oils inside; because of this, it can be stored for a long time and matures faster. Cutting only as much as needed to smoke lets the remaining piece keep its moisture. The same blend is also offered in sliced form.

It's a near-black tobacco; its aroma is deep, earthy, and carries a sharp smokiness. On the smoke, the fire-cured leaf's leather- and cigar-like smoky taste combines with the air-cured leaf's earthy, woody, and spicy tones. Nicotine is very high.
