Dark Plug Rum

This is the rum-cased version of Dark Plug. The base blend is built from dark fire-cured Virginia and Indian-origin fire-cured leaf; records indicate this pair is used in equal proportions and the mixture is cold-pressed for more than a week. The plug is sold as it comes out of the press.

The plug is packed sliced and rubbed out, or cube cut; since it's tightly pressed, it burns slowly and ages well in storage. The taste sits atop an earthy, smoky, salty base, with the rum casing adding a sweet edge. Nicotine is above medium; aimed at smokers experienced in handling plug tobacco.
