Dark Plug XX Unscented

This is the unflavored version of Dark Plug. Dark fire-cured Virginia and Indian-origin fire-cured leaf are combined in equal proportions and pressed cold for more than a week. The rum or natural casings found in other versions aren't applied here, so the taste comes entirely from how the leaf was processed.

The plug is hard and dense; it's sliced with a knife and rubbed out, or cube cut. The burn is slow, the smoke thick; nicotine is at the top end for pipe tobaccos. Smoke, earth, and a salty weight lead on the taste. Aimed at those with experience in unflavored, dark fire-cured leaf who want a slow, hearty smoke.
