Four Squires Flake

Four Squires is an unflavored plain Virginia flake prepared from Brazilian- and Malawi-origin Virginia leaf. Part of the leaves goes through flue-curing, part through sun-curing; this dual process gives the blend a bready body and a dark sweetness.

The medium-thick slices are packed rubbed out or folded, giving a slow, cool burn. Suited to smokers seeking unflavored Virginia taste along the lines of toasted bread and honey rather than fruity tartness. Its structure is well suited to jar aging.
