Gawith Red

Gawith Red is a blend built mostly from air-cured leaf, developed as an option to replace Amphora Red in the English market. Its composition includes Burley, Kentucky, Oriental, and Virginia; Kentucky provides body and earthy depth, while Oriental carries a spicy edge.

Records indicate a very light floral essence is applied on top; because of this, the blend isn't quite unflavored, but stays fairly restrained compared to the heavy sauces of Lakeland style. Suited to smokers wanting an everyday nutty, bready blend where sweetness doesn't lead.
