Kendal Aromatic Brown Bogie is a hand-twisted rope tobacco slightly over a centimeter thick. Its body is mostly fire-cured dark leaf, with a small proportion of Indian-origin air-cured dark leaf added. The brand's classic Lakeland-style floral essence is applied on top, so the tin aroma is strongly floral.
On the smoke, the smoky, earthy rope character sits together with a sweet floral note. Nicotine is high and the smoke full; suited to experienced smokers wanting a hearty smoke. Slicing and airing for a while before packing is common practice.
