Kendal Black Cavendish is a ribbon-cut tobacco made of double-fermented Cavendish leaf, darkened through steaming and pressing. During the process, the leaf's own sugar caramelizes, giving it a sweet character even without added flavoring.
The smoke is cool and mild, nicotine is low. It can be smoked on its own, or used by smokers building their own blends as a base tobacco to soften and sweeten Virginia- or Latakia-forward mixtures. A low-strength option for beginners.
