Kendal Dark Menthol

Kendal Dark is Gawith, Hoggarth & Co.'s dark-bodied shag family. The body is built from Malawi-origin fire-cured leaf and India-origin air-cured Virginia; the mixture is cut into fine shag. The menthol version carries a menthol top flavoring over this dark body.

The fine cut lights quickly and resists going out; on the other hand, since it burns fast, it calls for a slow tempo. It's a full-bodied tobacco for nicotine; the menthol's coolness doesn't mask the dark leaf's earthy, peppery base but layers on top of it. Suited to smokers familiar with dark English shag tobaccos who want a menthol version.
