Kendal Mixed Shag Menthol

Kendal Mixed is the second of Gawith, Hoggarth & Co.'s shag-cut main bodies. Unlike Kendal Gold's pure-Virginia structure, this body is built by adding Malawi-origin dark leaf and some fire-cured Kentucky to golden Virginia; because of this, its color is more mottled and its taste more earthy.

This is the version with menthol added to the Kendal Mixed body. Menthol pushes the dark leaf's earthy taste into the background and leaves a pronounced coolness in the mouth. The fine shag cut lights quickly. Aimed at those accustomed to smoking menthol-topped tobacco and wanting a palate-cleansing blend.
