Rum Flake

Rum Flake is a flake made by pressing and slicing Virginia and Burley leaf, rounded out with light rum and maple sugar sauces. It has also been offered in some markets under the name Jamaican Flake.

The slices burn evenly once crumbled and aired. The essence topping is pronounced but measured; Virginia's bready sweetness and Burley's nutty tone are still distinguishable on the smoke. Nicotine is moderate. Suited to those wanting to try an aromatic flake while avoiding heavily sugared tobaccos.
