Rum Twist Unsliced Rope

Rum Twist is a traditional rope tobacco produced by hand-twisting stoved Virginia leaf. Rum is added as a topping during production; the base leaf is the same as the brand's Black and Brown Irish X ropes. This version is offered as an unsliced rope, letting the smoker cut their own coin thickness.

Because of the dark leaf and tight winding, nicotine is high and the taste intense; the rum sweetness sits atop a molasses-like base. Rubbing out the cut slices and airing them for a while is common practice. Suited to smokers accustomed to rope tobaccos who want a full-bodied, sweet blend.
