Persuasion is counted among Georgetown Tobacco's English-style house blends. Its composition includes a generous proportion of Latakia; this weight is balanced by Oriental leaf and Virginia. The blend has been revised over time and is now offered with a finer cut; the fine ribbon cut makes packing the bowl easier and keeps the burn even.

On the taste side, Latakia's smoky, resinous core is the deciding factor; Oriental leaf adds a spicy, lightly tart edge, and Virginia adds a bready sweetness underneath. It's an unflavored blend.
