Shenandoah

Although Shenandoah belongs to Georgetown Tobacco's English-type line, its construction departs from tradition: rather than Virginia, light ribbon-cut Burley is used as the base. Latakia is added on top; its presence is clearly felt but not enough to take over the blend. It's named after the Shenandoah River in Virginia and is counted among the shop's best-selling blends.

The Burley base sets its taste apart from Virginia-heavy English mixtures: instead of a sugary sweetness, it builds a dry, nutty, earthy foundation, and combined with Latakia's smokiness the smoke stays dry and mild. It's unflavored and tongue bite stays limited. Suited to smokers wanting Latakia at a measured level in an everyday English mixture that doesn't lean sweet.
