Latakia Flake 20

Pesse Canoe Latakia Flake 20 is Gladora's unflavored, English-style flake. A twenty-percent share of Turkish Latakia is added to a base built from Turkish-grown Virginia and Oriental leaf; unlike Cyprian Latakia, the curing is done entirely in Turkey, leaving a depth close to dried fruit alongside the smoke.

Keeping the Latakia ratio measured makes the Oriental's floral spice and the Virginia's citrus-leaning tartness audible; plum, wood, and a light sweetness are the standout flavor lines. Since it's pressed as flake, it burns slowly and cool. Suited to smokers new to English mixtures as well as those wanting a daytime smoke without a heavy smoke load.
