Cypriot Sunset is one of the eponymous blends from England-based mail-order tobacconist GQ Tobaccos. Red Virginia steeped in a fruity sauce forms the body; joined by sliced black Burma tobacco, Turkish Orientals, dark Virginias, and Cyprian Latakia. A light whiskey touch is applied on top.
On the smoke, Latakia's sweet, smoky, woody character is felt without dominating; the Orientals add spice, the Virginias fruity sweetness, and the Burma tobacco adds weight to the body. The flavoring stays light, so the blend falls into the English mixture category rather than the aromatic one.
