Ashcroft Estate

Ashcroft Estate is an American mixture signed by blender Russ Ouellette in Hearth & Home's Signature series. A measured amount of Latakia along with some fire-cured leaf is added atop Virginia and Burley, producing a structure that resembles English mixtures in its light smokiness while still preserving Virginia's sweetness.

Since Latakia doesn't take on a dominant role, the blend can serve as a stepping stone between smokers who find dark English mixtures too heavy and those who have never tried a smoky taste at all. A medium-bodied ribbon cut designed for everyday smoking. The Hearth & Home brand is US-based; production has historically been handled by contract manufacturers.
