Cerberus

Cerberus is a Hearth & Home mixture named after the three-headed guard dog of mythology. The name refers to the blend's construction: Latakia, Perique, and dark fire-cured Kentucky are laid over an aged Virginia base in equal weight. Oriental leaf is added to open up the flavor line.

Latakia is added to the blend finely cut, so the smoke layer stands out in the taste. Perique brings spice and dark fruit, while Kentucky adds earthy weight. The result is a near full-bodied, layered, and intense English mixture that gives a heavy, creamy smoke when packed loosely. No top note is used. Suited to experienced smokers accustomed to Latakia who want to see more than one character leaf together in a single blend.
