Freight Train

Freight Train is an unflavored American blend made up of red Virginia, dark Burley, fire-cured Kentucky, a small amount of unflavored black Cavendish, and Perique. Since all the components lean toward dark leaf, the taste develops along a nutty, earthy line, with Perique leaving a spicy backbone.

It is noted for burning cool and producing a heavy volume of smoke. Suited to those wanting a full-bodied blend without Latakia; nicotine is not light, so it calls for slow smoking.
