Fusiler's Ration Special Reserve

Fusilier's Ration is the Marquee series' Latakia-forward blend offered as a crumble cake. Plentiful Cyprian Latakia and the most aromatic Oriental varieties are joined by sweet bright Virginia to lift the flavor; unflavored black Cavendish is used to add body. The finish carries a subtle, old-style light top note. Special Reserve is a specially prepared version of this recipe.

According to the blender, the blend was designed as a tribute to Bengal Slices. Bright, smoky flavor and an incense-like aroma stand out; it burns cool with a short finish. Suited to smokers accustomed to crumbling cake tobacco who love classic Latakia-forward English mixtures.
