Grandma's Kitchen is an aromatic where nutty-sweet Burley leaf meets the light spice of red Virginia. The mixture includes two separate naturally toasted black Cavendishes plus a vanilla-based, steam-processed black Cavendish. Contrary to what the name might suggest, it isn't dark black in appearance; because the Burley-to-Virginia ratio is high, the color is mixed, and the cut is a ribbon slightly thicker than average.

The topping sits over the tobacco without fully masking its taste; there is a noticeable nicotine weight coming from the Burley. It can give a peppery bite on the tongue if smoked quickly, so it calls for a slow pace.
