Larry's Blend

Larry's Blend is a full-bodied Balkan mixture built from Latakia, Oriental, and Virginia leaf. It is unflavored; sweetness comes from the Virginia, while a creamy, oily depth comes from the selected Oriental varieties. The Latakia ratio is kept higher than in the brand's Ten to Midnight blend, giving the smoke a thicker, smokier character.

The blend's origin traces to shop customer Larry Loerzel asking for a fuller English-Balkan mixture; the blender responded by changing the Oriental selection and increasing the Latakia. It comes out of the tin at a moisture level ready to smoke directly. Suited to smokers accustomed to Latakia-heavy blends looking for an evening smoke.
