Smoky Mountain

Smoky Mountain belongs to Hearth & Home's Slow-Aged line, a blend where fire-cured (dark fired) leaf comes forward. The tobaccos are pressed into a cake and then held in an aging press for roughly a month; this process deepens the flavors and softens the sharp edges.

In the smoke, an intense, easily flowing draw is found, along with an initial peppery sharpness followed by a sustained, meaty, herbal depth. It suits smokers looking for smokiness without Latakia and able to handle the nicotine load of dark leaves.
