Field & Stream is a semi-aromatic blend prepared by adding a small amount of black Cavendish to mild white Burley and sweet light Virginia leaf. Keeping the Cavendish proportion low prevents the sweetness from masking the tobacco taste; because of this, the blend sits somewhere between an aromatic and a plain American mixture. It was one of the well-known products in House of Windsor's over-the-counter line; records mention it as the blend US President Gerald Ford smoked for many years.
