Revelation

Revelation was an American-style mixture in which Perique and a small amount of Latakia were added to a Burley-and-Virginia base. Its cut wasn't uniform: cube-cut pieces, ribbon leaves, and slice fragments were all present together. The top flavoring applied to it was light, and since its recipe was never disclosed, its description remains unclear in sources. The result was a layered profile carrying both Burley's nutty body and the smoke and spice from Latakia and Perique.

The blend owes much of its fame to being remembered as the tobacco Albert Einstein smoked. After House of Windsor stopped production, the product left the market; different makers prepared match blends. It's a record of interest to smokers following classic American mixtures and historic blends.
