Great Dixter is a flavored blend in HU Tobacco's United Passion line, taking its name from the famous English garden. Light-colored loose-cut Virginia and a small amount of white Burley are added to a base obtained by rubbing out medium-brown Virginia flake.
The flavoring is built on geranium; because of this the blend carries a directly floral, rather than fruity, character. It offers a medium-strength, light, and mild smoke. It forms a separate category for those wanting to try a flavoring outside the usual vanilla-fruit axis. Records indicate it's presented in 50-gram tins.
