Kelvin's Silent Secret

Kelvin's Silent Secret is a medium-strength, lightly flavored blend from HU Tobacco. A small amount of dark-fired Kentucky and black Cavendish is added to a base built from different Virginia grades; a measured flavoring is applied on top.

The idea behind the blend is to achieve a structure where the flavoring doesn't dominate and all components work together; the Virginia character is preserved as a result. It holds an in-between position for smokers avoiding the intensity of flavored blends but not wanting a fully unflavored tobacco either. The blend takes its name from a young pipe maker met at the 2010 Lohmar pipe show.
