Khartoum

Khartoum is a Latakia-forward blend in HU Tobacco's African Line. Its base is ready-rubbed Virginia, rounded out with Kentucky, Perique, black Cavendish, Caribbean-origin cigar leaf, and Cyprus Latakia.

The line's starting point is to shift the usual weight distribution of English blends and produce English-style mixtures that step outside the classic mold. In Khartoum, smoky Latakia notes stand alongside the cigar leaves' spicy-sweet character; the result is a full, intensely sweet smoke. It's aimed at smokers accustomed to heavy Latakia blends.
