Own Mixture Cedros

Cedros sits at the aromatic end of the Own Mixture line prepared under the Poul Ilsted name. Ripe Virginia leaves and black Cavendish are joined by lightly pressed Burley, and the blend is coated with a cognac-and-honey flavoring. The Cavendish provides a soft sweetness and a cool smoke, while the Burley rounds out the body. It suits smokers looking for a mild, Danish-style aromatic that doesn't sting the mouth. The line was introduced in 2006, named after the Danish pipe maker Poul Ilsted, who has worked since the late 1960s; production is handled by Kopp Tobaccos in Germany.
