Own Mixture Dark Fired Plug

Dark Fired Plug is the fullest-bodied member of the Ilsted line. It's built from fire-cured Kentucky along with leaves of Malawian and Indian origin; the blend is pressed into a block and sold as a plug, a cut that's rarely encountered today. The plug needs to be sliced and rubbed out before smoking, but in return gives a slow, cool burn. Smokiness, wood smoke, and earthy taste lead, with sweetness staying in the background. Given its full nicotine strength, it's aimed at experienced smokers. It appears to have been out of stock at retailers for a long time.
