Candido Giovanella Alemo German Type

The name "Alemão" means "German" in Portuguese and describes Cândido Giovanella's line modeled on mild German-style aromatics. The German Type version is the near-neutral member of this line, without a pronounced fruit or cocoa coating. Its base is sun-dried Brazilian Virginia leaf and black Cavendish, joined by Burley and a small amount of Oriental leaf. The cut is neat ribbon, the burn is light, and it doesn't leave harshness on the palate. It's aimed at smokers wanting to move from aromatic toward unflavored tobacco, or looking for a mild leaf to smoke all day. It's produced in the Curitiba region of Paraná.
