Candido Giovanella Conhaque Cognac

This is the cognac-flavored version of the Cândido Giovanella line, produced by Imigrantes Fumos in Brazil. The base consists of domestically grown Virginia and Burley leaf with black Cavendish, cut in ribbon.

In the smoke, cognac's grapey, lightly burnt sugary taste leads; Burley gives a dry body while Virginia adds bready sweetness. Nicotine is moderate, the smoke cool. It suits those who enjoy liqueur-flavored aromatics and are looking for a darker taste for evening smoking.
