Germain's Brown Flake

Brown Flake belongs to the traditional flake line of J. F. Germain & Son, which has produced tobacco on the island of Jersey since 1820. It's a pressed tobacco built on the sweetness of dark Virginia leaves, carrying a light Burley spiciness and a woody depth; sources mention a subtle caramel note. The slices are pressed to a firmness that rubs out easily.

With its medium body and low flavoring level, it can be smoked over long periods throughout the day. Because the pressed Virginia character deepens over time, it's considered suitable for tin aging.
